With many more sprouting seeds of excitement on the vibrant horizon! What brings me the most joy is:
Spreading compassion
Providing care f

or others and practicing self care
Connection – connecting women and connecting with the inner Goddess. Every woman has an inner Goddess. That Goddess deserves to be held, supported, nurtured and celebrated! I’m Erin…

I love swimming in the sunshine, frozen grapes, creating, connecting, bare feet, kindness, laughing, board games, baby wearing, exploring natural therapies, good company, good wine, togetherness, smiles and giggles, yoga, meditation, diving, travel, massages, learning, adventures, tropical everything, warm cups of tea, delightful smells, nature, outside fires and hot baths in winter, dancing, stretching, my family, my tribe… Ok I’ll stop now. Growing up, I always felt an overwhelming urge to want to create peace and connection and spread love and compassion, I just wasn’t sure in what capacity. Falling pregnant in 2012 saw my life catapulted on a whole new trajectory… I found myself inhaling any and all information I could find on pregnancy, birth, breast feeding, parenthood, women’s mysteries and the sacred feminine. When I gave birth to my first wildling in 2013 I quickly realised just how vitally important it is to not only nurture your child, but to nurture yourself. Finding my tribe of women to journey alongside, share experiences with and support and love one another was an essential aspect of my adventure… I feel so blessed to still have these women in my life as we continue to grow and learn together. I feel very fortunate to be able to combine my passion for pregnancy, birth and motherhood with my desire to care and nurture others. I am able to support women on their individual journeys – whether that’s through my doula and placenta work or bringing women together to weave a web of celebration and support. No one can pour from an empty cup. You must do things for YOU! At the beginning of April I stumbled across a 30 day photography challenge called ‘find art in your every day’ through a friends story…

I found Tamara from who I hadn’t come across before (random because we apparently have a mill mutual follows and she’s an adelaide photog) and she had written…

“…starting this April, i’m running a 30 day challenge for my community

documenting the everyday has been deeply grounding for my own mental health. A way of noticing the beauty that already exists around me and this is an invitation to spark the same in you.

find the art in your everyday

a project of noticing & paying attention to the beauty of your life

we spend so much time chasing dopamine from quick fixes this is about finding it in what already exists around you

because the art is already there. it just needs you to notice

join for a day or stay for all 30 all devices welcome

i’ve curated a prompt for every day in April to guide you take a photo and share it to your feed or stories

use so we can all see and share in it together”

I WAS IN 🙌🏽

And I’ve LOVED IT ❤️‍🔥

Creativity & art is the antidote beautiful people!

This is why so many of us are feeling our creative centers pulsing right now… we’ve CRAVING it, being drawn into the beauty way. Finding ourselves longing to create, draw, knit, paint, take photos, use our hands to move from our heads into our hearts & the present moment 🫶🏽

Because the medicinal frequency of creation and art is a HUGE part of the antidote to the collective shadows that are being drawn into the light right now as a part of this epic time of transition that humanity is traversing. Creativity & art is how we integrate, alchemise, ROMANTICIZE and fall in love with life all over again. Simplicity ☺️

And so here are 20 of my 30 story posts, you can see the prompt written on the image… thank you Tamara, I loved the process, the shift in awareness, the inspiration 🙏🏽

Whatever you’re celebrating this weekend I hope it’s filled with love & laughter...

“Christians will be celebrating Easter, the day on which the resurrection of Jesus is said to have taken place. The date of celebration changes from year to year.
The reason for this variation is that Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox... research shows that this dating of Easter goes back to the complicated origins of this holiday & how it has evolved over the centuries.
Easter is quite similar to other major holidays like
Christmas & Halloween, which have evolved over the last 200 years or so. In all of these holidays, Christian & non-Christian (pagan) elements have continued to blend together.
Most major holidays have some connection to the changing of seasons.... Easter falls in close proximity to another key point in the solar year: the vernal equinox (around March 20), when there are equal periods of light & darkness. For those in northern latitudes, the coming of spring is often met with excitement, as it means an end to the cold days of winter.
Spring also means the coming back to life of plants & trees that have been dormant for winter, as well as the birth of new life in the animal world. Given the symbolism of new life & rebirth, it was only natural to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus at this time of the year.
The naming of the celebration as “Easter” seems to go back to the name of a pre-Christian goddess in England, Eostre, who was celebrated at the beginning of spring.
Decorated eggs had been part of the Easter festival at least since medieval times, given the obvious symbolism of new life. A vast amount of folklore surrounds Easter eggs, & in a number of Eastern European countries, the process of decorating them is extremely elaborate.”
- Brent Landau, Religious studies scholar

In Southern latitudes we have just passed the Autumnal equinox & continue the descent into colder, darker months.

How are you celebrating the break this year?

I have so many wonderful, inspiring humans in my life who run their own businesses… I’m curious, what do you find the most challenging/stretchy aspect? And what do you find the easiest/smoothest?
