Greetings! We are writing to introduce our fundraiser for the Flint Hills Wisdom Keepers, an educational 501(c3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering traditional Indigenous Wisdom through our unique annual weekend event.

Our Gatherings serve as an opportunity for individuals from all walks of life to come together and immerse themselves in the wisdom that has been handed down through generations.

The Annual Gatherings create experiences where relationships are woven and then integrated back into each person’s community. We are dedicated to sharing traditional Native American/Indigenous culture offered by The Elders, providing access to relevant learning opportunities, education, and cultural preservation. This includes: ceremonies, arts/crafts, dance and music. Our intention is to foster learning through storytelling, sharing of spiritual and artistic traditions, while uplifting Indigenous voices.

Your donation will provide funds toward:

-Elder’s travel and camp expenses ($1,000 per elder)

-Native American Visual and Performing Arts Program ($350 per artist)

-Native American Student/Participant Scholarship Program ($350 per student)

Donations are accepted on our website
Please consider a donation of $25 $50 $100 $200 - Everything Makes a HUGE difference. You can donate through our website : https://www.fhwisdomkeepers.org/donations

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support The Flint Hills Wisdom Keepers Gathering, giving Native communities a forum to share, and participants learn aspects of honoring and respecting Mother Earth in our lives.

Today marks a historical moment.

Joe Biden, in one of his final acts as president, commuted the life sentence of Native American rights activist Leonard Peltier.

Peltier has spent nearly 50 years in federal prison after advocating for education rights, land sovereignty, and human rights for all Native and Indigenous communities as an activist with AIM (the American Indian Movement).

We stand with Leonard and his family, and are still committed to bringing together Native Indigenous Leaders to continue to advocate for these changes.
