πŸ’β€β™€οΈ feeling proud 😏...I am very happy with this week's movement!

Set out, that I would make sure I walked every day as if I was going to the office and back 5 days done βœ”οΈ. Even went out the very strong winds Thursday! Starting were my boots and socks to get use to wearing them! Not forgetting my cheeky PT session with my PT mentor Tuesday. The legs and bum were on πŸ”₯ wed and Thurs.
And another mindfulness session wed evening πŸ™β€

Same again week, then proper training starts! 19 weeks to 56km πŸ’ͺ🦡

πŸ™ˆ So this is not even a new year ressi or starting my training for a 56km walk! This is just the time I need to do this for my general health. Since I have become a contracted home worker, then all those locks down and past year helping dad and sorting life. My lifestyle has become increasingly sedentary, and I don't move in the day enough and it impacting my health and weight (and my πŸ‘ is getting so flat πŸ˜…). So now mon-fri I am going out for general walk for min 30-45mins as standard what ever the weather (as if i was travelling to the office and back). This is not for "exercise" but just to increase my general daily movement. Ultra training starts soon πŸ’ͺ🦡

Wee 3.8 km walk to tonight, yesterday I just went for a nice 15km cycle in the wind and rain as you do 😬

Well look like I am committed to walking 56km next may 😬!

Well the last three years my own personal fitness has been all over the place, from moving and settling into new country, covid and dealing with three close family bereavement in 18 months 🀯....I needed a challenge, something I could focus on, something that a love ❀️. It been 11 years since I did challenge. So thought I start with 56km....34miles one. For those in London it Richmond to tulleys farm. For those in NI is Carrickfergus walking to Groomsport plus another 9km on top.

I'll be raising money for St Raphaels hopsice who looked not only after my dad in last two weeks of his life but other close friends parents πŸ₯°

Sometimes life events take over and regular excercise routine can go out the window. Not gonna lie, this was a real hard πŸ™ˆ but 17km cycle and 5km walk not bad considering have not done any longer distance walks or cycle for months. Looking forward to getting better back into exercise short and longer distances...just taking it one day at time

Was only a small cycle today as had to get my food shopping the week on the way! But still happy with that's as the nearly the first half was ⬆️ hill and I was feeling that burn.

Another 19.5km on the bike. Had to pick the bike up after service and weather not bad so made the most of it. Took a little longer as quite windy along the sea fronts and against the windy as some points but still a beautiful cycle 😁
