Emma Kisslinger Dweck is an acupuncturist trained in Five Element Acupuncture as well as other healing modalities. She graduated from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville Florida in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Emma believes that healing is achieved by creating strong relationships with her patients based on trust and mutual respect. Emma’s mission is to inspire personal healthcare reform through education, community building and acupuncture treatments.

Yep. We’re still in a pandemic. Sick of hearing about this? Me too. What is ‘just a cold’ to you may be debilitating or even disabling to someone else.

I’m seeing lots more long COVID in my clinic. Believe me, you don’t want this. The more times you get COVID, the more likely it is for you to get long COVID.

Rapid antigen tests are only 50% accurate at best

And even if it’s not COVID, it’s kind to communicate and see how comfortable people are with being exposed to a virus.

Today is my mom’s 76th birthday
She died in 2009 and as the years have gone on, the loss has felt less potent and less a part of the everyday. But I still miss her every moment of every day.

She was a force

And she infused everything she did, which was a lot, with joy, creativity, and passion

We had a complicated relationship and I am pretty sure she would be shocked, amused, delighted, and proud that I became an acupuncturist after she died (she was one of that first generation of acupuncturists in the late 70s)

Grief is such a wild and dynamic thing. I wish she could know her grandchildren, and I wish she was here to help ALL OF US (which is what she did) figure out this epically complicated time we’re living through

My mom tore this out of a magazine for me in probably 2007 or so. I keep it in my wallet always and it’s one of my most beloved possessions. Wish she was here with us. Miss you mama 💕
