In my early days as a dietitian, I used to insist my weight loss clients ate breakfast. There was evidence that those who ate breakfast weighed less than those who didn't. I now suspect that evidence came from Mr Kellogg et al!
So if you are healthy, not on any medications that require you to eat and aren't hungry in the mornings there is no need to force yourself to have breakfast. On the other hand, if you are hungry then make good choices like whole-grain toast with eggs or peanut butter, oatmeal or yoghurt with berries, not muffins or sugary cereals.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—or is it?
