Louis, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, and fellowship-trained in foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Bagwe’s primary area of interest is lower extremity disorders. His specialties include: Foot and Ankle Surgery; Arthroscopic Surgery; Cartilage Repairs; Ankle Joint Replacements; Foot & Ankle Injections; Reconstructive Surgery; General Orthopedic Surgery; Sports Medicine; and Knee Surgery.
He has been widely recognized and sought after for his innovative procedures that help patients regain their mobility. With significant experience in the workers’ compensation arena, Dr. Bagwe often cares for those injured on the job. He frequently works with case managers and adjusters to provide prompt care, and offers evaluation and treatment, independent medical evaluations, and second opinion services. Dr. Bagwe received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and his fellowship at the Center for Orthopedic Care, Inc., in Cincinnati, Ohio. When he is not working, Dr. Bagwe enjoys traveling with his family.
