ELK RIVER SOMATICS is an organization dedicated to the Investigation, Amalgamation and Proliferation of Somatic Arts and Practices around the world. We have developed a tension release methodology based on Ancient Russian bodywork performed with sticks and other heavy tools. Although traditionally, very intense, these Russian methods are effective in ways which no other bodywork can match. Elk River is modernizing these methods to be appropriate for people from all walks of life.
