Distraction has to be one of the biggest challenges our clients face on the regular ... this post has some interesting takes that you might find helpful.
1. Of particular note was the emerging research that we are most creative in the mornings and IF possible, considering a new work flow might be advantageous.
2. The author Alice Lemee, cites Marta Brzosko, author of the Self-Awareness Blog:
"Becoming aware of your mental habits lets you decide whether you 'cling' to these thoughts or not. Consciousness enables you to move beyond the belief that your thoughts are 'true' and to see them for what they really are: mental interpretations deriving from the unconscious mind."
3. Although the interpretation and application is slightly different than what we normally recommend ... the concept of becoming more conscious of your subconscious can yield massive shifts in the right direction and lead to a more positive fulfilling life.
