The requirements are to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and bring your best cookies! Not into cookies? That's okay! We have memorial ornament making, Narcan training, tombstone painting and more. We can't wait to see you there!

Local governments have received hundreds of millions of dollars from the opioid settlements to support addiction treatment, recovery, and prevention efforts. Their spending decisions in 2024 were sometimes surprising and even controversial. Our new database offers more than 10,500 examples.

UPDATE: There is/was one confirmed case. Some pods are in quarantine out of precaution. COs are wearing masks, but those incarcerated are not being provided masks. This is not an outbreak as originally reported to us. But still reason to be concerned and to check on your loved ones.

UPDATE: We were contacted by our Broome County Health Department, who we trust. They said there have been no cases of Tuberculosis in the jail. We are glad to hear that and regret receiving misinformation earlier and regret more that we shared it if there is no validity to it.

There are too many terrible things actually happening to need to spread misinformation, that’s for sure.

The health department asked that we remind people that TB is treatable. If anyone has concerned, they should be screened and treated.

Please do still check on your incarcerated loved ones. And do keep us informed of your experiences.
