Jefferson Department of Otolaryngology Jefferson Otolaryngology physicians are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of the ear, nose News & World Report.

Our physicians are trained in such subspecialty areas as Head and Neck Surgery, Sinus and Skull Base Surgery, Laryngology, Sleep Surgery, Otology, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Our mission is to provide the highest quality patient care by driving health care advancement and equity through collaboration, education and innovation. Dr. Cottrill taught at the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer—an international, multidisciplinary meeting held every two years, this year in Boston. The conference brings together global leaders in thyroid cancer diagnosis and treatment. Throughout the week, Dr. Cottrill presented on intraoperative nerve monitoring, radiofrequency ablation for thyroid nodules, thyroid ultrasound, and participated as a panelist in a discussion on the surgical management of advanced thyroid cancer.
