I know we've got some new followers here, so I just wanted to give you a glimpse into the person behind the screen! Here are 3 things you might not know about me:

1. I've been singing my whole life... children's choir, youth choir & adult choir. When I get together with my family, we will end up singing.
2. My husband is 9 years my senior.
3. I absolutely love my gray hair. I've had gray hair since my 20s.

I know a lot of you have seen my posts about essential oils. I use them every day. I'm serious… EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! I have them everywhere… in my kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, purse, at work. Even my kids have them in their rooms and school book bags.
I started this journey because I wanted to find a natural way to take care of my family with as little pharmaceutical intervention as possible. I want to be proactive with our health & wellness, not reactive. A year of researching led me to pick Young Living as my source for essential oils. I believed in their Seed to Seal promise and the years they’ve been in business. I stood at the proverbial doorway but was still afraid to walk through. After speaking to a trusted friend about why she picked YL, I decided to walk through. Almost 6 1/2 years later, I have grown so much and yet there so much more to learn. But I am so happy I walked through that door. I have no regrets.
Let me take that back. I do have one regret. I regret not having started sooner. I wish someone spoke to me about essential oils sooner. I don't want to be THAT person. I don't want to be the one that DIDN'T tell you about essentials oils. So, I will talk about them… ALL.THE.TIME! I don't want to let an opportunity go by without letting someone know about Young Living's essential oils.

I walked every morning last fall. It felt good. I even got my son and husband to walk with me. I lost weight. I really was feeling good. But I stopped walking after Thanksgiving. I haven’t done my morning walks since.

Why?? Holidays started and I let it get in my head that I was too busy. So no exercising and eating holiday food. Then I developed an issue with my foot that made it hurt to walk. Still no walking and now I’m gaining the weight I lost. And I started feeling sluggish again.

Yes I’m seeing a doctor for my foot but now it’s been months that I haven’t gone on my morning walk. It’s getting a bit discouraging and i don’t want it to start that downward spiral.

I’m breaking that cycle today. Better portions, better choices, more water, less soda.
