We're proud to welcome Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Grant Abitria to the Nevada Heart & Vascular Center team.
“Grant brings decades of advanced cardiac assisting experience to our team,” said Dr. Tony Alamo, Nevada Heart & Vascular’s chief physician executive and chief medical officer. “His knowledge and skills will be a big patient care asset as we continue to grow Nevada’s leading independent cardiology practice.”
Abitria brings to the role more than 30 years of clinical cardiology nursing experience. More than 20 years of that experience has been with hospitals and cardiac care centers in Las Vegas. He has extensive experience assisting in multiple advanced cardiovascular invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implanting, impella device positioning and balloon pump procedures.
Abitria has a master’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University. He is bilingual in English and Tagalog and resides in Henderson, Nev.
