: Feedback like this about our Press Pause and Play Retreat always makes my heart warm but I love it more when I know our carefully selected providers are just what the doctor ordered when it comes to relaxation. đ¤ đ¤ đ¤
I personally love the providers I invite to every retreat because of the results they bring - and that's why it's worth every cent!
Take a long weekend to disconnect from life's daily hustle and bustle this September. But HURRY! There's only 2 spots left.

Misperception
The things that we witness in life are quite often coloured by our own beliefs.
Itâs well known that if ten people witness an accident you will get ten different points of view.
In that same way, the world looks very different to children, people, places and things are often perceived as far bigger and greater than they are.
You can try this by sitting down on the floor and observing the difference in how things now look.
Because much of our subconscious programming happens by default very early on in childhood, we had a very different frame of reference when our misperceptions were formed.
If we havenât upgraded certain areas of our life, itâs quite possible these misperceptions are still playing out.
These misperceptions can be the cause of much gossip and unnecessary worries in life.

Monday Motivation!
Sometimes life just feels like it keeps knocking us down.
Donât let it.
Itâs easy to get caught up focusing our energy on all the reasons why we should give up, why itâs not worth it, why it hurts too much.
But we can choose to get up, we can choose to focus our energy on building ourselves and those around us back up.
We will most likely stumble again and again but learning to dance isnât easy and we need to learn the steps.
Consistency and presence is required.
Both for our physical bodies and our emotional bodies.
Growth is painful, ignore the pain and focus on the goal.

Sgt Vardy- PTRC, Kapooka.
Not the only man to say this one but itâs found a home in my psyche.
I got to experience something very few do these days at basic soldier training and Iâll forever be grateful for the instructors and the lessons I learnt while I was there.
Itâs true across so many aspects of life.
Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, if we put off developing these aspects of ourselves or run from them, weâll always be two steps behind the challenges we face in life and there will always be new challenges to face on all fronts.

Story Time
Jack is 3 yrs old when his little sister comes along. His parents are so excited that they are having a little girl as Itâs what they have always wanted.
Jack is also excited because heâs been told heâs going to be a big brother and when his parents tell him, they say it with such joy that he only feels its going to be a wonderful and amazing experience.
Shortly after having their little girl, His parents begin to lose sleep as is the case with most newbornâs. Dad seemâs to always be away at work and Mum is exhausted from the constant cries and feeding. Mum and Dad start to get a bit short with each other when talking at night time because of the exhaustion and Jack wonders what he may have done to cause this. His only conclusion is that he needs to be better in order to make his parentâs happy again, the way they had been before his little sister came along. He doesnât understand yet about the difficulty involved with a newborn baby. So he decides that the best thing to do is take on more responsibility and help how ever he can. He starts waking up earlier and sitting with mum and bub when feeding, he tries his best to clean up after himself and at some point stops playing with his toyâs as much because it just means extra work for him to do when heâs finished. Mum and Dad see this and think nothing of it, instead they show him affection and gratitude for being such a good boy by doing the things heâs doing. This reinforces Jackâs behaviour and proves to him that it must have been hard for them because he wasnât doing enough before.
Now what do you think happenâs as Jack getâs older with these beliefs now imprinted on his young brain?

Whatever it is that your beating yourself up about, Stop.
Do something about it, ask for help, chat to friend, do some push ups, Stop internalising negative thoughts about yourself and the things youâve messed up. This doesnât help you move forward and it definitely wont solve the problem.
Focus on what you want. Take responsibility for yourself in knowing that whatever situation you are in, whether its your fault or not, you are the only person who can get you out and your capable of much more than realise.
Whatâs your desired outcome? or put another way, What is the opposite to the feeling or situation your not liking at the moment?
Aim at that.
Love,
Clinton

If you ask God or âthe universeâ for a cake, expect the ingredients.
When we set an intention, we send a signal out into the universe which interacts with all the energy around us. Incase you need a reminder, as I often doâŚ
Everything is energy.
Whether we realise it or not, we are doing this constantly, and if you havenât decided what it is that you want, that just means that someone else decided for you and your most likely following that path.
If we ask to become more loving, do we get warm fuzzy feelings all over all the time? Maybe.
More often though, if we aim to become more loving long enough, we get people and experiences that require us to develop that aspect of ourselves. This can be extremely challenging, especially if we havenât yet learned to love ourselves.
If we ask for patience, do we immediately become content and patient with everything and everyone around us? Or do we get the people and experiences that challenge our patience?
This rule applies to every situation in life and can be pretty bloody stressful, but itâs a constant process that we need to go through, just as when we were little and we needed to learn how to speak, count and communicate our basic needs.
There is help out there available for these types of things and we here at Evolving Minds Kinesiology are just one path, everyone will require different knowledge and skills at certain points in their life.
I hope the cake tastes good! đ

I have lived in Tamworth, NSW, my whole life.
Growing up on family farms and living in the city has been a rewarding experience.
Working in the building and construction industry for over 15 years has allowed me to make secure connections in the community and develop my ability to communicate with people one on one in a friendly and understanding manner.
In 2015 I went through my own set of challenging circumstances which in the end lead me to where I am now. By the end of that year, after experiencing my first ever 'balance', I had enrolled to study a Diploma in Kinesiology and was not far off working for myself in concreting and construction.
Since that time, I have successfully finished my Diploma while studying for a second, worked as an Independent contractor to various construction companies and set up Evolving Minds Kinesiology. I have travelled for work and school, been overseas twice and managed to stay on top of our everyday expenses while becoming physically and mentally healthier. On top of this, I have maintained and continued to grow in a beautiful, loving relationship.
I feel as though I would have achieved less than half of this without having kinesiology sessions along the way. Kinesiology has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of who I am. It has strengthened the love and respect I have for myself and I now feel I have choices where before I had none.
Kinesiology has enabled me to feel younger as the years have gone by while still working 30-40 hour weeks in construction.
Kinesiology, to me, is where it all becomes real.
It can be felt in the muscles just how much various thoughts, emotions, memories and beliefs affect the ability to move with presence, comfort and ease.
While all therapies have their inherent value, kinesiology is my first preference for most issues. By tuning in and correcting the underlying programming in my brain and body, kinesiology has helped me to make lasting changes that will benefit me and my loved ones for the rest of my life.

Let's talk about how kinesiology can assist you with any issues.
Kinesiology uses the gentle art of muscle monitoring, to identify imbalances in the bodies structural, chemical, emotional or other energy pathways, concerning a goal, desired outcome or specific health issue. The Practitioner then uses a wide variety of corrections particular to the individual, which aims to restore balance allowing the body to heal itself naturally.
A fundamental premise of Kinesiology is that your body has Innate Intelligence. At all times, it is doing it's best to care for itself.
However,
Stress, daily lifestyle choices, injury and various other factors can disrupt this process. Sometimes it needs to be helped back into a better position to achieve this care. Kinesiology is non-invasive and suitable for all ages.
Kinesiology balancing works in a variety of ways to support:
Pain reduction
Stress release
Personal growth and development
Overall well being
Mental health
Relaxation
Muscle injury and recovery
Nutritional issues
Biochemical communication

Brain/ body integration

Disclaimer:
Kinesiology is a holistic health modality that does not attempt to diagnose or treat named diseases and illnesses.
It views the body as a complete and complex organism in which all systems communicate with each other and takes into account the various energetic anatomy pathways (chakras, acupuncture channels, auric fields, etc). Kinesiology aims to return the person to a high functioning state of health and vitality in which the bodies innate intelligence heals itself.
