It's time of the year again. As always I am still humbled by the kindness & support from the loveliest patients and colleagues at Subiaco and Genea Perth
Time flies, I have been busy looking after patients mostly. Trying to spend some time with family too and the year has gone by quickly.
A couple of events that make me remember the year 2025:
# ankle early in the year and scooted around the hospital in my knee scooter. Thankfully I made a quick recovery.
After the recovery I decided to attend regular gym sessions wilson fitness studio and also reformer pilates at Club Pilates. Managed to lose 6kg, I am the lightest I have ever been in my whole life. It is hard work to keep going but I love my food too much so I have to burn some fat and calories!! It is also fun to see my fitness improves and muscles grow, haha.
I lost my daddy a few weeks ago in early December. He is dearly missed. Dad was always my biggest supporter, and since young had thought me the importance of giving my all in my job to provide the best quality results.
On the morning I learnt of his passing, I continued to look after my patients before flying home to my childhood town in Malaysia that evening. That morning I also delivered a gorgeous baby; I dedicated that day's work to him knowing how proud he was for the job I am doing. I am proud of you too for being my dad.
And yes, despite being oncall I managed to attend the SJOG Subiaco Soiree. It was fun (as photos) to catch up with the management team and medical colleagues.
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope 2026 is a fabulous year for everyone. Quite a few of my patients are spending the 1st Christmas with their new additions in the families. It is really heartwarming thinking of that, some of them have gone through many years of fertility and pregnancy journeys. I do love my job so will keep going for quite a few years.
Thank you for spending the year 2025 with me!
