🌈 Back on the Mornington Peninsula. 🌊

I’m delighted to announce that as of 24th June I’ll be teaching regularly at .physio.pilates in Frankston South on Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30am-12:30pm. After almost 10 years I am back on the Peninsula again!

I’m very excited and fortunate to be working alongside the brilliant physio Sarah Sealey in the light-filled studio.

I’m taking over busy existing classes but there are a few limited spots for any locals wanting to jump in and nab a spot! Please contact the studio for bookings.

It’s with a heavy heart I need to post an ad here to seek a replacement for my position at Seaview Health Group in Beaumaris. After 3 months of returning after mat leave in a new location, it has become apparent that the travel is becoming an issue for my health and is also impacting my family and I need to be closer to home.

Seaview has been an INCREDIBLE base for my clients, students and myself over the last 4 years and I will miss the staff and clients immensely.

Below is the position description:

Seaview Health Group in Beaumaris is looking for a confident Pilates Instructor to step into a well-established role, taking over from a much-loved instructor.

This is a contractor position, with 4 classes on Tuesday morning and 4 on Friday morning, ready to go with regular clients and a great vibe.

What you’ll love about this role:
🔹Take over a loyal client base with a smooth handover
🔹Work in our fully equipped Pilates studio featuring 3 Allegro 2 reformers, trapeze table, Wunda chair, ladder barrel and more
🔹Be part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team including Osteopaths, Podiatrists, EPs, and Myotherapists
🔹Flexible, contractor role – with flexibility to grow your hours and your Pilates skills in a supportive setting

What we’re looking for:
🔶An Instructor who is confident running mixed equipment studio sessions with a 1:4 ratio

Guess who’s back after maternity leave?! 🤰

I’m stoked to say I’ll be back at teaching studio Pilates at in Beaumaris on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 4th Feb 😀 There are still a few spots on Friday morning at 9 and 11 so get in quick if you need a Kimi sesh.

⭐️MATERNITY LEAVE COVER NEEDED⭐️

Seaview Health Group in Beaumaris is looking for a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher to take over a busy Wednesday night shift 4-7:45pm as soon as possible.

The position is to cover my (Kimi Broadbent) maternity leave which could be 9-12 months duration. Excellent team of osteopaths, podiatrists and exercise physiologist in house to bounce off and amazing long term comfortable clients.

I am really honored to have received a Finalist award for “Pilates Instructor of the Year” award.

It is a privilege to be acknowledged by the community that I love in my efforts to not only teach my clients to the best of my ability but also educating teachers in training through

It has been an epic couple of years, especially navigating my way as a teacher, an educator and a presenter all while being a new mum.

Highlights for me for 2023 were:

⭐️ Presenting my workshop “Finding Freedom in Depressed Scapula” at Movementality Movers and Shakers

⭐️Presenting “Pregnancy and Pilates; A New Paradigm” with at the Conference

⭐️ Taking in a whole new role as an educator in Victoria with Body Organics Education! Learning an intense amount of new content and taking on two intakes across 2023 and 2024 at after observing an intake with in Albury.

I couldn’t have done all of this without the help of my husband and family and I am so so grateful for all the support I’ve had along the way to achieve so much all while sleep deprived and raising a small defiant, cheeky, head-strong young lady. 👧🏼

👯‍♀️👯‍♂️ TIPS FOR MANAGING 4 CLIENTS IN A STUDIO SETTING 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

Working with 1 client is a dream, the creativity flows and we don’t miss a think with our Pilates laser vision!

Working with 2 clients is fun! We can manage an innovative session with time to breathe and find out what they did on the weekend

3 clients is the sweet spot. Busy but efficient. Enough time for all!

4 clients… CAN BE HECTIC! Especially if you have new clients just learning the ropes or particularly curly contraindications… but here are some tips that can help when you are feeling run off your feet as a teacher!! (See post above)
