If you’ve ever typed one of these questions into your phone late at night, sister, you’re not alone.

Low libido isn’t a personal failing (!) nor is it something you need to quietly accept. In midlife especially, desire is shaped by hormones, stress, nervous system load, nourishment, sleep, and emotional safety.

There are reasons why your libido has changed and there are solutions - for real.

Want your mojo back? Based on my clinical practice, I am going to go with a resounding hell YES.

I created an awesome guide so in a couple of minutes you can take steps to feel the fire again.❤️‍🔥 Simply head to 🖇️in bio.

Adult ADHD is real, complex, and multifactorial.

This post isn’t about questioning a diagnosis—it’s about supporting brain physiology more fully.

Iron plays a critical role in dopamine production and myelin formation, both central to attention, motivation, and mental energy. Research shows that individuals with ADHD tend to have lower ferritin levels—a marker of iron storage, not just circulating iron.🩸

This matters because ferritin can be low before anemia develops, and before standard labs flag anything as abnormal. In women—especially during perimenopause—low iron stores are common and often missed.

Iron doesn’t cause ADHD.
And correcting iron deficiency isn’t a cure ❌

But iron status may be a modifiable factor that supports attention, cognitive resilience, and mental stamina—particularly for women experiencing brain fog, fatigue, or low motivation alongside ADHD.

As always, foundations matter.
Sometimes clarity begins with asking better questions of the body. Link in my bio to book your consultation 🔗

As we move into a new year, it helps to remember that results don’t come out of nowhere.

They’re built—slowly and quietly—on daily habits, routines, and foundations. Sustainable practices create change. And when nothing shifts, it’s often not about effort—it’s about what hasn’t been supported yet. 💙

Sometimes what your body needs is more consistency with the basics: nourishing meals, hydration, steady sleep.

Sometimes it’s less control and more freedom—to let loose, try something new, or stop holding it all together.

Sometimes it’s rest. Or space. Or permission to not do everything at once.

This isn’t about doing more.

It’s about giving your body what it’s actually asking for—and building from there.

And if you need some extra support - link in my bio to book with me. 🔗

As the year comes to a close, the pressure quietly ramps up.
New goals.
New rules.
New ideas about how your health should look by January.

But here’s what I want you to remember—especially if you’re navigating midlife:

If you’re comparing yourself right now, it’s not because you’re behind. ❌

It’s because the wellness space is built to showcase what looks effortless, while leaving out the context that makes it possible.

Time.
Support.
Resources.
Personalized care.
Financial stability.

Capacity matters - these factors matter more than pure motivation alone.

Real health at this stage isn’t about constantly upgrading yourself or chasing the next “better” routine. It’s about clarity—understanding what actually supports your body, your hormones, and your capacity in this season. ❤️

As we move into a new year, my hope for you is less pressure to reinvent yourself and more permission to choose what’s steady, supportive, and sustainable.

You don’t need a reset.
You need a plan that fits your real life.

And if no one has told you lately—you’re doing far better than you think. ✨

If you’re looking for care that gets to the root cause—without pressure to overhaul your life—I’m here to help you create a plan that fits this season.

f nutrition suddenly feels harder in midlife, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

Hormonal shifts change how your body responds to food. As estrogen fluctuates, skipped meals, under-eating, blood sugar swings, and stress can have a much bigger impact than they once did.

Midlife nutrition isn’t about restriction—it’s about stability.

➡️ Consistent meals.
➡️ Enough protein, fiber, and fat together.
➡️ Nourishment that supports your nervous system.

When food becomes predictable, hormones and metabolism have space to settle.

Lost your fire?? If you have, you’re so not alone and you’re definitely not broken.

Midlife brings real neuro-hormonal shifts that can affect desire, arousal, and comfort… and none of this is a reflection of YOU, your relationship, or your effort.

I created a free, evidence-based guide to help you understand WHY libido changes in perimenopause and menopause — and the clear, 3-step treatment path that actually works.

If you’re ready to face this issue and learn what our options are, this guide is for you.

❤️‍🔥 Your libido isn’t gone, she just needs support.

So many women come into my office exhausted from the endless pressure to do more, be more, fix more.

For years, the world has rewarded you for stretching yourself thin — for running on empty, for holding everything together, for putting your needs last and calling it strength.

But healing doesn’t come from overextension.

It comes from the quiet, steady choices you make every day — the ones that say, “I matter too.”

When your routine begins to reflect your worth instead of your obligations, something shifts.

This is the part that often surprises women: it’s not the dramatic overhauls that change your health.

It’s the consistent, self-honoring habits — the ones you return to again and again — that allow healing to take root.
Change doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from tending to yourself with the same care you’ve offered everyone else for years.

You’re allowed to build a life — and a routine — that supports you back. ✌️💙

We can defend our limitations, but we also get to keep them. I say this to myself … all the time. The stories we tell ourselves are a cage we pace so if we believe it’s a mountain, well then it is. Some folks I have worked out with in my living room that have saved me over the years 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 .

Midlife asks a lot of women — to be strong, steady, productive, and endlessly available. We’re taught to value what we can hold together, not the inner spark that keeps us feeling awake and connected to ourselves.

But one of the most important things you can protect is the part of you that still feels alive, hopeful, and open — the part that knows when something in your life or body needs to change.

That same quiet knowing is what guided me into medicine in the first place, and it’s the same wisdom I see in the women I care for every day.

Softness isn’t fragility. It’s resilience. 🥊

And it matters just as much for your health as anything else we talk about here — because when you protect what lights you up, you support your hormones, your nervous system, and your sense of self.

You deserve a life that feels good to inhabit, not just one you can push through. 💗 Link in my bio to book your consult.

Perimenopause isn’t always loud. 📣

Sometimes it shows up in the quiet shifts — the ones that leave you wondering, “Why do I feel so different, and why can’t I explain it?”

If the symptoms in this post feel familiar, nothing is “wrong with you.” These changes have real physiological roots, and with the right support, you can feel like yourself again. 🙌

As a reminder - my end-of-year appointments are filling up fast! This is a great time to use your extended benefits and get clarity on what your body is trying to tell you. Link in my bio 🔗⬆️

And if low libido has been part of your experience, stay tuned… I have a free guide coming soon that will help you understand what’s happening and where to start.

You don’t have to navigate this alone — support is available, and it can get better. 🩵
