This isn’t trendy new diet info. The hormones you keep reading about that are wrecking your waistline, disrupting your sleep, trashing your hair, and pi***ng you off…well, they need FATS. Healthy normal fats. Full fat dairy (yogurt & milk) Chicken with the skin.

The right kinds of FATS do NOT make YOU fat!!

To be healthy and live a healthy life is about a lot more than eating your vegetables..but that helps too! 😜

Dairy..fat..sugar..blah blah
Boy was I wrong! Yogurt provides almost every nutrient that your body needs. It is especially high in calcium, B vitamins and trace minerals. Its high in protein and as long as you buy quality yogurt with live cultures (not the Boston Cream Pie flavored kind) it contains probiotics for a healthy digestive system.
I now eat full fat plain organic Greek yogurt at least 3 times a week for breakfast with berries, walnuts, honey & cinnamon. Today I tossed in some pepitas and I loved the crunch!!! Want to feel better!? Start your day eating well!!

Eating well isn't eating kale, although it can be a part of it. Eating well is eliminating processed foods with chemicals instead of nutrients. Eating well is adding colorful fruits & veggies with vitamins & minerals your body needs. Eating well is getting in healthy fats so every cell in your is strong..and EATING WELL will give you the energy to do what ever it is you want each and every day..and wouldn't that FEEL BETTER!? Margarine is full of polyunsaturated fats from overly processed, genetically modified vegetable oils such as canola and soy. The hydrogenation process alters the the molecules and creates trans fats that the body does not know how to process causing damage. As if that's not bad enough the preservative BHT is added to increase shelf life and stability. There are numerous studies linking BHT to cancer.
THIS IS NOT FOOD!!
Do you know what's in butter?
Heavy cream & salt.
That's all..and that's all I have to say.

I used the bones from a rotisserie chicken I bought as Costco for $5..okay so its not "organic" but its still waaay better than a $5 meal from KFC😝. I had at least 5 meals from it and THEN made this delicious broth in my crock pot.
Here's the take away...

✴you DO have time to eat well
✴you CAN afford to eat well..unless of course...
✴you do have time to get sick
✴you can afford to be ill

Eat Well Feel Better...It's really that simple!

Your body needs real food to thrive, to grow, to repair, and to be well.
Someone once told me..
"Nice things aren't cheap and cheap things aren't nice.."
That doesn't mean you need to spend a fortune on what food the food industry calls "health food" but for the price of 5 dollar menu items and a sugary beverage you could buy and make a minimum of 2 healthy meals...(I can teach you how!)

Changing your eating habits can be stressful enough...you're trying new recipes, resisting your "comfort foods", and generally reducing your sugar intake, which can make you experience some serious withdrawals..AND THEN you add the pressure of the numbers on the scale. All that stress can actually keep the weight on, even if you are eating healthier.
Eat for Wellness. Eat for energy. Eat for nutrition. Eat for health...get that in order first and cultivate a healthy mindset about food WITHOUT worrying about the weight and guaranteed you will start to see changes. Changes in not only how you look but MORE IMPORTANTLY in how you FEEL!!

It's going to be a hot weekend..remember to stay hydrated!!

The general rule for water intake is your weight ÷ 2 = oz
And you need to add more if you drink any diuretics such as coffee, soda (ick! 😝) or alcohol.

We are made of 55-60% water..don't let your body become dehydrated. Early signs of dehydration include; headaches, fatigue, or irritability and no one wants that.

Take care of yourself in the heat! Drink plenty of water and p*e clear!
