Scottsburg Lions Club member Steve Meyer presents a check for $500 to Cradle Family Resource Center- FRC Executive Director Erin Manton. The grant was awarded from the Scottsburg Lions Club/D.Q. Reid Memorial Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation and will be used to support CRADLE’s mission of feeding, clothing, and supporting families. CRADLE has served more than 250 clients this year, which includes distribution of over 35,000 diapers, an increase of 25 percent from last year’s total. Their most urgent needs include pull-ups in all sizes, sippy cups, adult shampoo and body wash.

We had some donations dropped off after hours. It is stuff we really can't use so it is up for grabs!

We are open today but limiting items to diapers, wipes, and formula. We are still getting over being sick but wanted to open for immediate needs. This will be the case tomorrow as well.

I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for Scott County Kiwanis generous grant in support of our remodeling efforts. Your investment in our mission comes at a pivotal time as we work to improve and expand our facilities to better serve families in need throughout our community.

The Scott County Kiwanis Club is excited to support CRADLE in their process of refurbishing their ministry center on Thomas Street in Scottsburg. This funding project is a partnership of the Scott County Kiwanis Club and the Indiana Kiwanis Foundation. Making the presentation for the Club and the Foundation is Indiana District Governor Al Riggle, with the donation being accepted by Erin Manton, Executive Director, and Paula Baldwin, Board member of CRADLE.
