CNSLab, part Omega Diagnostics based in Ely, offers UK health practitioners a wide range of food sensitivity test panels, including vegan and vegetarian. Sunday sees us celebrate the women that inspire, lead, support and encourage us, from our past, the present and for those in the future.

We continue to encourage and celebrate those who break barriers and inspire us every day. At Omega Diagnostics, we’re proud to recognise the women that fulfil various roles that make our business succeed and grow.

In fact, 59% of our workforce are women, from our Chair, right through to our Senior Leadership Team, our Scientists, our production and our admin staff.

Once again, we’ve partnered with our local charity Branching Out who support adults with learning difficulties.

Every day should be a cake day..!! With loads of fantastic treats, sweet and some savoury choices too, all made by our staff. We’ve raised an incredible £315, just by selling our cakes, and of course some sausage rolls too…!! We love contributing to our local community and we’re proud to be able to support it in a number of ways.

Organiser Eve Brown comments "Our staff have been great, but now we all probably need to shed a few pounds. It's been a great event, once again bringing our staff together, and helping add true value to our local community". We’re now all looking forward to the next event…!!

With Lent, many give up luxuries like chocolate or alcohol, to practice self-discipline. Others take up positive habits. So why not trying adding instead of denial?

Start with fibre. It plays a fundamental role in supporting your gut microbiome and overall wellbeing. Found in all fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, pulses, and wholegrains.

Simple daily steps can make a powerful difference:
• Eat two pieces of fruit before your main meal.
• Double your vegetable intake at dinner — think protein and four portions of veg.

Small additions, done consistently, can create lasting change.
