How to Answer the Phone When You're Busy With a Patient?

Say this to the patient in front of you:

“Just give me 15 seconds. I’m going to answer the phone, collect some info, and let them know I’ll call them back.”

Then:
📞 Answer the call
📝 Get their name, number, and email
⏱️ Promise to call back within 15 minutes
📌 Write it down on a sticky

Call them back when you said you would. That’s how you build trust.
