Growing up in southeastern Washington state, Kramer was part of an active family. His journey to an LGMD diagnosis began during his junior year of high school when he began to wonder why his natural athletic ability was starting to change.

Everyone is fighting something. Be kind.

On the surface, she lived a dream life: Miss USA, successful attorney, national TV correspondent. But for reasons we may never fully understand, on this cold Sunday morning in New York City, Cheslie Kryst left a su***de note behind and ended her life. She was only 30 years old.

Depression and other mental health crises do not discriminate. It does not matter who you are, what you’ve achieved, or how the world perceives you. Sometimes the seemingly strongest among us are suffering in silence.
