The new ECG visualization report generated by the Movesense ECG Recorder app version 2.1 includes several tools to help experts to interpret the ECG data.

- ECG sections with high RR interval variability (RR change >100ms between consecutive beats). These snippets highlight the sections with irregular beats.
- Consecutive QRS complexes displayed overlaid in 10-second intervals. This plot provides a quick idea of ​​whether there is significant variation in the shape of the QRS complex at any point in the data.
- 30 second ECG strips of the first 60 minutes of the data.

Movesense ECG Recorder is a mobile app for collecting, viewing and sharing single channel ECG data measured with the Movesense MD sensor. The solution, also know as CardioRTHM, is available for both professionals and individual users and can be used in clinical as well as in home environment.

To try it yourself, install the app on app store and get a Movesense MD sensor and a chest strap at https://cardiorthm.com. The app includes some sample data, so you can get an idea of the functionality even without the sensor.

The new Movesense ECG Recorder app version 2.1 adds advanced ECG visualization reports that help experts to interpret the ECG data. Here is an example of the 30-sec ECG strips included in the ECG report:

- ECG graph on a millimeter grid on a 25mm/s and 10mm/mV scale
- RR interval of each beat in milliseconds
- Heart rate as beats per minute of each beat
- Vertical center line of each RR interval
- Beat-by-beat heart rate graph as a column chart

Movesense ECG Recorder mobile app update available now! The version 2.1 adds new ECG visualizations that help spotting sections in the ECG data worth closer investigation. The charts also include visualizations of key heart rate variability parameters and statistical graphs, allowing the expert to quickly see whether the ECG signal is normal or not.

The app is certified as a class IIa medical device (EU MDR) with the wearable Movesense MD ECG sensor. It is intended for viewing, recording and sharing data measured with the sensor and is available for iOS and Android.

A highly interesting new article on JMIR mHealth and uHealth studies the impact of IMU sampling rate, sensor placement, number of sensors and sensor modalities on the accuracy of movement classification with Movesense sensors. The findings are very useful for anyone interested in assessing human activity with Movesense or other IMU sensors.

The new medically certified Movesense device firmware 2.3.1 brings all the new features and improvements from the last few non-medical updates to the medical use with the Movesense MD sensor!
