Hello Maluchi family and friends,

The last few years have been a whirlwind for everyone and especially for us here at Maluchi Centre. We have been changing up what services Maluchi Centre provides due to COVID and what families are more in need of most.

Maluchi Centre now offers ABA one-to-one therapy services in the families homes. We have hired ABA Therapists who work under Toni Clermont, BCBA and either have or are training to become Registered Behaviour Therapists. We also provide consultation with families with Toni and assessments.

Now, that we have gotten settled in the new services we provide, we are excited to announce that we are accepting new clients in the Niagara Region.

Services:

1:1 Therapy​
The Behaviour Intervention Plan developed following assessment will outline the targeted treatment plan. Sessions will take place with a Registered Behaviour Therapist (RBT) and will focus on these targets working to reach mastery criteria. Once a target has been mastered, it will enter into a generalization/maintenance program within treatment sessions.

​We encourage parents to be involved each step of the process and provide parent training in order to help generalize targets to the home.

Assessment
​The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills-Revised (ABLLS-R) - a skills-based system of assessment, curriculum, and tracking system that addresses the basic language and functional skills of an individual with autism and other developmental delays.

New Client Assessments include:
- 90-120 minutes of parent interview with a BCBA
- 90-120 minutes of child observation assessment
- 30-60 minutes review of full report including service recommendation
- Follow up consultations at no cost to discuss other concerns

All assessment elements completed under BCBA supervision.

​Clients of Maluchi Early A.B.A. Centre continue to be assessed using standardized tools. Ongoing assessment included with all 1:1 service - no additional charge!

​Behavioural Consultation

New Client Behavioural Consultation include:
- A behavioural Assessment, as described above
- Parent/Caregiver Training for at home skill building
- Follow-Up meetings with BCBA to discuss and review home program
