Bonjour à tous,
Les Pouilles séduisent le monde entier, et ce n’est pas une exagération ! Cependant, il est urgent de structurer cette effervescence. Le nombre croissant d’expatriés et de futurs propriétaires me rend perplexe. Notre région n’est pas encore prête, sur le plan structurel, à accueillir ce phénomène culturel diversifié qui envahit nos villes et nos campagnes. Je suis particulièrement sensible aux sentiments des locaux, qui semblent ravis de ce succès soudain. Pourtant, ils ne réalisent pas toujours que ce triomphe, bien que rapidement acquis, n’est pas suffisamment pensé pour répondre aux attentes des touristes étrangers. La vie locale, ancrée dans ses traditions ancestrales, reste comme figée, formant un clan indestructible. Cette résistance au changement pourrait leur être défavorable. Aujourd’hui, la priorité semble se tourner vers les villas de luxe et les maisons décorées avec soin, même sans être luxueuses, pour répondre à cette nouvelle demande.

Puglia has captivated the world, and that’s no exaggeration! However, this frenzy needs to be organized. The growing number of expatriates and prospective property owners leaves me skeptical. Our region is not yet structurally prepared to handle the diverse cultural phenomenon sweeping through our towns and countryside. I’m particularly sensitive to the feelings of the locals, who seem delighted by this sudden success. Yet, they often fail to realize that this rapidly gained triumph is not adequately tailored to meet the expectations of foreign tourists. Local life, rooted in its ancestral traditions, remains almost frozen, forming an unyielding community. This resistance to change could work against them. Today, the focus seems to be on luxury villas and stylishly decorated homes, even those not necessarily luxurious, to meet this new demand.

La Puglia ha conquistato il mondo, e non è un’esagerazione! Tuttavia, è urgente strutturare questo entusiasmo. Il numero crescente di espatriati e futuri proprietari mi lascia perplessa. La nostra regione non è ancora pronta, dal punto di vista strutturale, ad affrontare il fenomeno culturale diversificato che sta invadendo le nostre città e campagne. Sono particolarmente sensibile ai sentimenti dei locali, che sembrano felici di questo successo improvviso. Eppure, spesso non si rendono conto che questo trionfo, ottenuto così rapidamente, non è sufficientemente pensato per rispondere alle aspettative dei turisti stranieri. La vita locale, radicata nelle sue tradizioni ancestrali, rimane quasi immobile, formando una comunità indistruttibile. Questa resistenza al cambiamento potrebbe rivelarsi svantaggiosa. Oggi, la priorità sembra essere rivolta alle ville di lusso e alle case arredate con gusto, anche se non necessariamente lussuose, per soddisfare questa nuova domanda.
