Restoring Communication with Speech Neuroengineering — brought to you by Dr. Lee M. Miller and the NFOSD.

Swallowing and communication aren’t separate worlds—many conditions that impact swallowing also affect speech and language. At NFOSD, we're proud to broaden our educational horizons and dive into this vital overlap. This isn't just a webinar about swallowing—it’s about restoring voices and connection, too.

Earn ASHA CEUs—a great chance to expand your professional toolkit at no cost.

We are deeply saddened to share that our friend and fellow NFOSD member, Ron Patun, passed away last week.

Ron bravely shared his journey with dysphagia, offering hope and encouragement to others navigating similar challenges. Ron's determination and passion for living life to its fullest left a lasting mark on our community and staff, and his words continue to inspire those who read them.

We are grateful for the time we had with Ron and for his willingness to share his story so that others would feel less alone.
