I am thrilled to hear that you are able to do the things you enjoy so much, and do them without pain! Strengthening your posture and your movement patterns is why you are no longer in pain. One of the most frustrating things that anybody can deal with is reoccurring mystery pain you have dealt with for far longer than you would have hoped. We strive to take the necessary time to gather as much information as we can about what our clients are dealing with. Taking care of your feet can have a positive impact on your overall alignment and well-being. Here are some tips to keep your feet happy and promote better posture:
 
* Choose shoes that provide proper arch support and cushioning.
* Strengthening your feet through exercises like toe curls, arch lifts, and ankle rotations can improve stability and balance.
* Pay attention to your standing posture. Stand tall with your weight evenly distributed on both feet, and avoid excessive leaning or favoring one side.
* Regularly stretch and massage your feet to release tension and improve flexibility.

If you’re a back sleeper and have your legs straight on the mattress then you should pretty much be aligned. Try adding a pillow under your knees to reduces any stress on the low back.

If you’re a side sleeper then you’re most likely twisting your pelvis due to the top leg being unsupported. This creates asymptomatic muscles and joint pain. Try adding a small pillow in between your legs just above the knees to square up the pelvis.

As your sitting, focus on a few key things:
•Keep your back straight and shoulders relaxed. Avoid slouching or leaning forward.
•Place your feet flat on the floor with your knees at a 90-degree angle. •Avoid crossing your legs or ankles.
•Adjust the height of your chair so that your feet are flat on the ground and your hips are level with your knees. •Use a footrest if necessary.
•Adjust the height of your computer screen so that the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye level. This can help prevent neck and eye strain.
•Take regular breaks to stand up, stretch, and move around. This can help prevent stiffness and improve circulation.

Each client will go through a thorough posture, balance, and movement assessment to identify any neuro-muscular imbalances that exist within the body. We create a custom program specific to your body and goals.
