Save this post for after your next facial

1. Avoid using actives for 24–48 hours. That means salicylic, benzoyl peroxide, mandelic, glycolic, retinols, scrubs… all of it. Your skin can be more sensitive, and we are NOT trying to irritate that fresh, beautiful face.

2. Avoid heat & heavy sweating, yes, this includes hot pilates, heated yoga, saunas, and steam rooms. Heat and sweat can actually irritate freshly treated skin and can even lead to breakouts. Let her rest.

3. Keep it simple. Gentle cleanser, hydrating serums, moisturizer. Don't forget your SPF. Protect the glow at all costs.

The better your aftercare, the better your results 🤍

Injectables are truly an art, and art takes precision 🎨

That's why we build a two-week follow-up into your neurotoxin treatment, especially for our Clients who may be new to to the treatment...not as an afterthought, but as part of the process. Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport & Xeomin) can take up to 14 days to fully settle. At that time, your Provider will be able to properly assess your results from your initial treatment and determine whether any dosage adjustments are needed.

Remember, we can always add more units, but we can’t take them away. Everybody is different; your muscle strength, metabolism, facial anatomy, and even your lifestyle all play a role in how you respond to neurotoxins. Some clients metabolize the product quickly, some need a little more for full correction, and some respond beautifully to a conservative dose.

That’s exactly why your two-week follow-up is so important. It allows us to fine-tune your results safely and strategically, so your outcome looks balanced, natural, and customized specifically to you.
