Preparations are well underway for the upcoming season for Sailability Bendigo!

Our season will now be extended, with monthly sailing opportunities between September-December, and February-April.

We will be moving to an online booking and payment system this year, so keep an eye out in early August when bookings open up.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back on board for another season of fun, freedom, and inclusive opportunities on the water! Whether you're a returning sailor or joining us for the first time, we look forward to sharing the joy of sailing with you ⛵️

Cycling Without Age Bendigo is also returning for another season - which we're incredibly excited about! Their team will be providing free trishaw rides around the lake during sailing days. A well-loved addition to sailing days last season - we can't wait to see more people enjoy this opportunity again.

Congratulations to our friends Cycling Without Age Bendigo!

Yesterday they held their Reveal & Launch Event for their brand new Trishaw, with the assistance of Bendigo Mayor, CR Andrea Metcalf.

A wonderful event - the room was filled with the Chapters supporters, sponsors, and very dedicated and passionate volunteers.

Bendigo Sailability are coming into our second season of partnering with Cycling Without Age Bendigo, and are very excited to see their new Trishaw in action from September - April throughout our season at Lake Weeroona.

Well done to everyone involved!

As our season has now come to an end, here are some reminders for our next season!

-Our 2025/2026 season will commence in September 2025.
-You can book ahead! Make sure you don't miss out, by penciling in some bookings early.
-Our sailing days next season will still be the first Wednesday of each month, from September.
-Cycling Without Age Bendigo still run throughout our off season - please contact their wonderful volunteers to find out when you can go on one of their trishaw bike rides!

For anyone who didn't attend the Bendigo Sports Star Awards, here is a video of Sailability Bendigo being announced as the winner of the 2024 Bendigo Bank Community Minded Award!

Michael McCartney, Mark Teasdale and Simon Bibby, volunteers and committee members of Sailability Bendigo, gave a really meaningful and powerful acceptance speech, highlighting the importance of both partnership initiatives, and inclusive sporting opportunities.
