Medications are prescribed for a reason!
Taking someone else’s meds can be seriously dangerous. Here’s why:
💊Wrong dosage: What works for them might not work or be safe for you.
💊Bad interactions: Mixing meds can lead to unexpected and harmful side effects.
💊Underlying conditions: You might have a health issue they don’t, making their meds risky for you.
💊The only safe meds are ones you get from licensed pharmacies. Taking meds from other sources puts you at risk of life-threatening fentanyl poisoning.

There’s a reason some meds aren’t available over-the-counter. If you have questions about medication safety, call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 for confidential, free, expert advice.

To stay safe, have a 3-day supply of food that requires minimal cooking or refrigeration. If the power goes out, keep fridge and freezer doors closed to maintain food safety.
Food in the fridge lasts about 4 hours, a half-full freezer stays safe for about 24 hours, and a full one keeps cool for about 48 hours.
