• A deep tissue massage is a technique that combines slow strokes and deep finger pressure to alleviate pain and tension in the body. It’s purpose is to release tightness and tensions that are held deep within your muscles and connective tissues.
•Deep tissue massage focuses primarily on the areas in which you are experiencing the most discomfort, but you can discuss this with me before your treatment. Typically, this occurs in the back, shoulders, neck, legs, and hip muscles.

✨What to expect with back and shoulders DT massage✨ :
I will use slow and strong strokes along your spine, shoulders and neck with deep finger, elbow & forearm pressure to target specific areas that need attention. I will be attempting to work out knots and reduce pressure around tense muscles.

✨Benefits of a deep tissue massage✨ :
This treatment can help with chronic pain in the lower back, hips, and shoulders and neck. It will loosen tight tissue clusters that cause pain and can be more effective than taking over-the-counter pain relief.

While deep tissue massage is primarily used to reduce pain, tension and muscle fatigue, it can also benefit your mental health too. As a relaxing massage, it has been known to help treat symptoms of anxiety and stress too!

If you have scar tissue and pain from a former injury, this type of massage can help break up the painful scar tissue and improve your quality of life.
Increasing blood flow will help combat inflammation and promote a faster healing process.
