I haven't posted on here for a long while, but we recently had some great news, and I wanted to share it with you! ๐Ÿ˜Š
โ€‹
โ€‹Eva recently went for an Almond challenge....and PASSED!! ๐ŸŽ‰
โ€‹
โ€‹She was incredibly brave going through the challenge, as you who have gone through these will know, eating a food not knowing if you will have a reaction is very scary, and I'm so proud at how she fought through despite the fear.
โ€‹
โ€‹Eva is over the moon to have passed and safely eat Almonds now. It's given her a huge confidence boost and hopefully we can start to add more allergens on to the safe list in the future ๐Ÿคž.
โ€‹
โ€‹I cannot explain how it feels to see someone so excited for the first time to try almonds! โ™ฅ๏ธ
โ€‹
โ€‹She completed the challenge with almond butter but at home this evening she tried them raw, and I made her a tasty treat of Nomo Chocolate covered almonds which she cannot stop eating!
โ€‹
โ€‹Tomorrow I'm making her homemade almond milk and soon homemade chocolate spread with almonds! ๐Ÿ˜ (very excited mummy here!)
โ€‹
โ€‹How are you all getting on with life and navigating food challenges you've recently had? x
