The World Mental Health Day 2025 theme is "Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies". Set by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), the theme highlights the importance of ensuring mental health support is available and accessible to everyone, especially during times of crisis.

But who looks after those doing the looking after? The first responders, those supporting the first responders, those exposed to crisis for the purposes of reporting & investigating, those who are involved in the extensive recovery post crisis. The reach of crisis extends far.

This World Mental Health day Systemisk Psychology Ltd wants to bring awareness to the many, who through their employment, respond dutifully to crisis, often without questionning or even being aware of its impact long term.

We are working with organisations, with whom this may be their workforce, to embed a proactive infrastructure of crisis response support to its workers. Instead of waiting for experiences of hurt to cause harm before accessible support is available, our approach embeds organisational support that prevents challenging times causing a long lasting impact on teams & employees.

As World Mental Health Day approaches we are promoting mental wellness in the workplace.

Based on average assumptions of working full time across an expected working life trajectory, a person will spend 3700 - 3800 days at work over their lifetime.

Between the ages of 25 to 55 you are most likely to spend the majority of your time with colleagues, with a peak around 30 to 50.
Well-being at work cannot be a luxury. It is a necessity in the longevity of a quality work life protile.
