Katie Mae McKay
🕊🌹 (Nay 8, 1930- November 7, 2025)
Wow, what a legacy! Reading her obit & being present at the memorial service was an honor.
Katie was a devoted nurse for many years & fought tooth & nail to get her degree. Katie first had to drop out of school to help raise her siblings & then finish school. Then, put her dream on hold again to raise her own family before going to nursing school to get that degree. Talk about determination. It showed in her loving family with their heartfelt tributes about her.
🙏🏻Thank you to the family for inviting our NHG to pay tribute for this precious life today March 7, 2026 at 10am.

Kimberly "Kim" Ann Pinter
🕊🌹 (February 25, 1968- January 19, 2026)
Kim was a loving Mom & Mimi. She was a successful consultant & later a nurse. Kim's highest achievement in nursing was the master's degree, & she taught new nurses for several years, before turning to a different role in nursing.

🕊⚘️ Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Bridges (May 27, 1958- January 17, 2026) service was at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Chapel at 2pm today, January 21, 2026.

Debbie loved her family fiercely, & loved to take care of them, cook for them & make sure they ate well. She had been a nurse about 36 years & mentored many Med/Surg nurses.

🚨This page was created for the PUBLIC to see what our chapter is doing in the communities in the Texas Panhandle.
🚨 What do we do?
We are current practicing nurses or retired nurses that VOLUNTEER our time to the community to "give back" by honoring the death of a fellow nurse. We perform a special tribute to them at their funeral, & release them from thier earthly duties as a nurse.
🚨 If you are interested in having our services performed all you have to do is contact the admins on this page through messenger.
🚨 Is there a service charge? Currently there is no service charge, however we accept donations.
🚨 Attention Texas Panhandle Community:
As we prepare to honor your loved one- for nurses who have passed away, we kindly ask for your help in honoring their memory. If you know of any nurse who has passed away feel free to reach out to the Texas Panhandle Nurse Honor Guard.

JT was a devoted nurse for 25 years, a loving husband & father. He loved his dog, & being outdoors.
