We strongly encourage you to not only LIKE our page but SHARE our posts and creative materials! In order to succeed in our mission (above) we need visibility from both sides of the spectrum. So whether your HIV-positive or HIV-negative, you should to be informed of the constantly evolving state of HIV/AIDS. We ask that you join us in our attempt to defeat stigma and educate the world. What is HIV

Neutral? "HIV Neutral" is a state of mind, that promotes the spirit of seeing each other not as positive or negative, but as equal members of the human family, free of discrimination and alienation. Living a "neutral" lifestyle is being a visible advocate in the fight to end the epidemic and the stigma associated with HIV. It is putting emphasis on the humanity of all people and not casting judgment because of their status, positive or negative. It is standing up, speaking out and educating others. To truly live "HIV Neutral," we must begin shifting towards a new way of thinking about HIV/AIDS. Moving away from thoughts full of death and sadness and towards thoughts of life and hope for the future. Simply put, it is being able to make informed decisions about your social and sexual health. Because HIV is now classified as a chronic manageable condition, treatment is now focused on people living full and healthy lives.

If we don’t stop this massive attack on HIV prevention, there will be a resurgence of this preventable disease, many people will become unnecessarily sick, and it will result in millions of dollars in costs to taxpayers.

Please call your Senators and Representatives and tell them to do everything they can to stop these cuts. Find your elected officials by calling the US Capitol Switchboard: 202-224-3121 (Senate); 202-225-3121 (House).

🔺 Join us for the ACT UP 2025 Emergency Town Hall 🔺

In 2025, New York City will decide its future. As we face unprecedented assaults on public health, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant communities, and basic freedoms nationwide — every progressive piece of legislation that we can advocate for this year to strengthen support for our communities will be crucial. Additionally, this year’s mayoral election will act as a referendum on Trump and the entire MAGA backlash we are living through. Will we face the next four years with a leadership that defends New York’s identity as a diverse sanctuary for all — or a mayor that’ll sell us out to Trump?

This emergency town hall is a space to strategize, mobilize, and build power across movements. Whether through direct action or policy change, inside pressure or outside resistance, we must forge the alliances needed to secure a future where New York stands as a sanctuary for all — people living with HIV/AIDS, refugees and immigrants, q***r and trans people, people of color, people living with chronic illnesses, and every community under threat.

The stakes are high. The time to organize is now.
