Egypt was beyond my wildest imaginings. The power places and initiatory energies are extraordinary, are visceral. The temples are awe-inspiring to the highest level of that word.

This was a pilgrimage that I have waited for for a very long time, and it was one, there if cane, has changed my life ✨

When I follow my heart and truly listen to where I am being called I am pulled into the experiences that I need most, at the time I most need them 🙏

The reason for my online quietness … has been due to a month of full and committed presence to the exploration and experiences in a land so deeply close to my heart ❤️

After 20 years away, and upon turning 40 I was pulled so strongly back to New Zealand, to the birth home of my father and the resting place of his gravestone - which I so longed to see and lay flowers beside..

He was a constant presence during my trip there and will be on my next 40th adventure - when I travel to Egypt and immerse myself in its’ magic and mystery ✨

It was so beautiful, and so needed for my heart, to be with my family there and back on the land that holds so many memories of my father.

It was also a beautiful chance to spend time with much loved friends and to have the most incredible adventures. I felt so carried by the universe, so held by the magic of adventure, and so in trust of the flow.

Life never turns out the way that we imagine and there are times when this can feel hard but when we let expectation go and any attachment to outdated or unavailable dreams, it can lead us to the most extraordinary moments, the culmination of which can lead to an even more extraordinary life 💞

Imbolc blessings 💗

An ode to Brigid:

In the deep heart of winter, when the land lay grey and silent, the people believed the world was asleep.

But the elders knew better.

They said that beneath the frozen ground, Brigid was already awake.

Not walking the fields.
Not stirring the rivers.
But kneeling at the hearth of the world.

Brigid carried no blazing fire at this time only a single coal, cupped in her hands. She guarded it fiercely, as it was fragile, and the winds of winter were strong.

As she moved through the land, she did not wake the trees or command the seeds to rise. Instead, she whispered to them:

Not yet.
Rest a little longer.

Where her breath touched the earth, the frost softened.
Where her foot stepped, the snow thinned.
And where her flame warmed the dark soil, life remembered itself.

The people watched for her signs.

They saw milk return to the ewes.
They noticed the light lingering longer at dusk.
They found the first snowdrops pushing through the cold hard ground, not in defiance of winter, but in trust that it would pass.

On Imbolc night, people lit candles in their homes, not to banish the dark, but to honour Brigid and the small flame she carried.

Holding the challenging or hurt parts* of us with compassion & presence allows us to listen, to understand & to heal/integrate them🌹

*e.g the inner critic, the procrastinator, the distractor, the judge, the parts of us in pain, in grief, guilt, regret or despair..

Don’t wish them gone, turn towards them and find out what they want to say (& why) 🙏

Many years ago I wondered how it would feel to live in the present moment, to trust in life and its natural ebbs & flows, to surrender when it felt like nothing would ever happen and then to meet it when everything would happen all at once.

It was a practice.. to lean into each chapter, seeing it not as ‘forever’ but as a phase that would soon shift.

I found the key to ‘presence’ was not to be a passive observer, drifting through life without taking any action. But learnt it was about being actively passive; staying centred (repeated practice) and connected, following inspiration, leaning into the moment & responding to life with enthusiasm and trust.

I let go of ‘striving’, and instead surrendered to the will of the Universe, letting it take me where it wanted me to go, and when I did everything changed.

I discovered so much peace, presence, and joy.

Without me forcing anything I was lead to my soul mate & a fairy cottage in dartmoor, to beautiful work & gorgeous people.. and, still in this practice, it continues to lead me.

In this phase I have been carried from the enchanting magic of the moor to these ⬆️ powerful & peaceful mountains of New Mexico.


Living in flow does not mean that such transitions are easy, they are touched by sadness for those things we are parting from & tiring; but I gave myself space & grace to feel everything, to meet it, and to accept help (🙏 .georginarose) but there was never any fear, any doubt, any regret.

And in this new phase, I continue to feel awake, alive, peaceful and ready for all that will come.

I am so grateful to where the universe has guided me & continues to guide me. Through this journey I have seen how it knows me better than I know myself, how it is always trying to guide me (us) into my (our) power, potential, & awakened presence.

In this journey of surrender I have learnt to; trust in the ‘knowing’ of my own heart, listen to my intuition, let go of forcing life, surrender to the ebbs & flows of energy, health & wealth, be present, tend to & release my fears, and build a strong knowing (& connection) of (to) Spirit.

The secret to prayers, gratitudes, active appreciation:

First… who are you praying to? Who/what are you grateful for?

These questions speak to ‘relationship’ between us and something else.

And so the essential need is to see/know/feel that relationship. So that you can speak/pray to it directly.

(And those relationships respond best when they are cultivated & tended to)

Secondly you must intend what you say (through your heart)

Thirdly expect nothing.

Fourthly extend your love.

A month of weaving autumnal magic through work, play & home 🍂

Honouring the seasonal shifts is such a powerful way to stay grounded, connected & appreciative.

Following the seasons brings four periods (each year) of contemplation & resonance.

But to engage more, within the Celtic calendar there are festivals every 6 weeks, reminders to celebrate, honour & recalibrate.

And there’s more.. with a full & new moon each month (with quarter moons too) you will have ample opportunity to live within the power of the we’ve turning cycles of our beautiful world 🙏

In the season of change, release & beginning to turn inwards it can be a wonderful time to create structures that can help to support us, to keep us rooted & aligned even with the change around us.

So seek out those who can help you live your best life. Put into your calendar all the festivals & moons from now through 2026, and think of ways to honour when they come around.

Create the structure so you can live in flow and presence ❤️

Celebrating nature inside and out, and all the abundance and beauty it so generously gifts 🙏

This Autumn Equinox (a day after the solar eclipse) has brought a lot of overwhelm for many of my clients & those around me, and for some there is a feeling of self-disconnection and an imbalance around self care.

If you can relate then just remember all of the support in your life, all the things you are grateful for, all the things that are going well.

And gift yourself (or future self) your consideration & love by giving yourself time, tenderness & nourishment.

And take yourself outside to be reminded of how grounding, beautiful and supportive nature is.

It does not judge, it does not question, it is there for you, with you, and around you ❤️
