A Special Day of Awakening 🦁

I was born on the Lion’s Gate, 08/08/08, a day that has always felt auspicious and filled with promise. There’s a sense of wonderment, hopefulness, and new curiosity brewing within me. Today, as I celebrate my born day, I invite you to join in the celebration of renewal, growth and self-care for yourself! Everyday we can be born again to all the opportunity and light life has in store for us!

Every age and season of my life is a stroll through time and each one has felt like a different lifetime, a new chapter filled with its own unique experiences and lessons. Now, in my mid-fifties, I want to share this truth:

Aging is not about growing older; it’s about growing wiser, more compassionate, and more present with oneself. It’s about embracing every moment, cherishing every memory, and looking forward to the adventures yet to come.

1. Search for purpose and peace.
2. Reconnect with yourself, again and again.
3. You’re not behind, you’re already on your way.
4. Invest in Rest. Slow down without the low dopamine hits, the craving for distraction. Pause before reacting, do it again and again. Learning more awareness comes with stillness and gaining the clarity you seek.
5. Each stage is temporary, keep going!
6. Accept where you are right now, yes your body and face is changing. Shift the focus away from trying so hard to feel like your younger self and more toward embracing new habits, rituals, and behaviors that will help you age with strength, vitality and contentment.

Between travel, disrupted routines and hormonal shifts it’s the perfect time to pause, reconnect, and ground ourselves in the season’s inherent wisdom. It’s easy to observe people rushing through their days, missing the profound connection that summer offers. Instead of feeling restored your left depleted. In our journey of creation, we often ask ourselves: Why create? What’s the intention behind it? I saw a post recently asking just that.

For me, it’s about igniting the passion within and transforming thoughts and ideas into reality. After many hurdles and setbacks, I persisted. I know navigating the world of skincare can often feel overwhelming, with countless options and trends promising quick fixes. True skin health, however, begins with understanding your unique needs on a cellular level. Working with someone that understands what works and well what doesn’t!

Driven by a burning desire to make a difference, I crafted a product to help my clients achieve beautiful skin. For the past 30 years, I’ve been on a mission to serve and empower individuals, helping them feel
confident and love the skin they’re in through the joy of service!

The art of skincare is my passion. Here’s a sliver of my year which was jam packed. Stay Tuned, lots dropping in the Spring. Wishing you a rejuvenating start to 2025 🍾💫

*👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨Family and Transition: This year, much of our time and resources were dedicated to our Texas homestead project. Saying goodbye to our farm and small-town Texas was heartfelt, akin to the sadness felt when I bid farewell to Rocco, my beloved kitty, and our cherished horses. Yet, we’re closer than ever to realizing our renovation dream on our 10-acre Hill Country property.
* 🏡 Building Dreams: After three years of perseverance, navigating land clearing, securing permits, and enduring the wait for utilities—not to mention recovering from sticker shock—our dream, though still a work in progress, is taking shape! Our guest house and new skin + wellness studio in a beautiful Texas barn are becoming a reality. This has been a tremendous learning experience.
*🛍️ Beauty Success: The Beauty Birdy has been praised + consistently flown off the shelves since dropping.
* 🌟Collaborations: An amazing launch with Muse & Heroine, an online retail platform in Europe! With a highly curated portfolio of the world’s best beauty and wellness brands. It was an honor to be part of the Muse Exhibition and introduce Faith Cosmetics, Japanese brand I’ve worked closely for nine years, to the European market. 🌍 Being featured among such an incredible network of holistic beauty industry leaders is a privilege. I’m thrilled to share that I’ll also be included in their wellness guide for the best destination treatments in NYC in 2025.
* 👩🏽‍🦳 Embracing Change: It’s been exactly one year since I embarked on my grey hair journey. Some days feel radical and empowering, others remind me of aging—an emotional ride I’ve mostly embraced. Day 20 in the photo.
