Unioni a Iachau/Integrative Health
Creative Kinesiology is a body tracking method which helps to explore any symptoms arising in the body. It can help to identify and release root causes and/or any underlying issues which manifest as aches and pains, illnesses, allergies, anxiety, depression, depletion or low energy. It can also help release any thoughts/behavioural patterns which are impacting negatively on your health and wellbeing. Over the last ten years I have received training in various therapeutic bodywork and energy healing modalities including Creative Kinesiology, Shiatsu, Shin Tai, Reiki and yoga. I’ve also received training in Beauty Way Medicine Wheel teachings from the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas tradition.I utterly love this work and weave these threads of wisdom and knowledge when working alongside individuals on their way towards optimal health. Mewn sesiwn fe fyddwn yn siarad hefo’r corff er mwyn darganfod a rhyddhau unrhye symptomau sy’n codi. Creative Kinesiology was established by Carrie Jost in 1989 in order to train the practitioners of the future. Her understanding that all of our experiences – physical, emotional or spiritual- can be held in our physical self, formed the basis of her work. This led to Creative Kinesiology’s key approach of helping to witness and release stress, anxiety and trauma that may be held at the body level. What to expect from a session:
The session begins by talking about whatever is arising for you at this time: any specific issues, a sense of ‘stuckness’ or being out of balance; low energy, a particular symptom or following an illness. Guided by your body wisdom we discover a focus and best hope for the session, and from there we track the story of the imbalance and find the appropriate healing tools and techniques to support your system back towards balance and health. The techniques used during a session may include:
• Physical work: I have trained in Shiatsu bodywork and use gentle but potent palpation, palming and acupressure techniques when working with the body to realign, integrate and bring balance back to the body.
• Energy balance: working through the framework of 5 Element Theory to balance the meridians, subtle bodies and chakras; restoring the hormonal and central nervous system to balance.
• Working with emotional and mental blocks: using various techniques to identify, witness, release, and transform limiting, self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviours. Creative Kinesiology can help identify and work with fears, phobias, traumas, limiting beliefs which may still controlling our story and sabotaging our lives. Past experiences can impact our lives enormously, and with muscle testing we can gently uncover conscious or unconscious barriers/ issues which are preventing us from moving forward or truly living our lives.
• Nutritional and biochemical tracking: Stress in the body may be presented in the form of sensitivity to foods, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, auto-immune issues, self-sabotaging dietary habits. Through tracking and muscle-testing we can identify what will help support the body, exploring any need for eliminating certain foods for a short while or supplementing with good quality nutrition. Length of sessions:
Initial sessions are 90 minutes with follow up sessions usually lasting an hour. How often should I come? Many like to come for regular sessions over longer periods of time, as it gives them the time to work with long standing issues, or to go deeper into something in particular. Some choose to have a few sessions to help them through a transition, times of illness, stress or life changes. Many clients feel its beneficial to come for occasional sessions very few months to maintain optimal health and wellbeing. I would recommend an initial block of three sessions to allow time to sense and integrate any changes in your sense of wellbeing and for it to be felt in your life.
