WAM BAM FAM ! Russell and Amanda are enjoying a collection of local producers and food vendors who showcase the best of our local produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey and more at the Wamuran's F.A.M (Food Art Music) Festival.

Wamuran is located west of Caboolture and is known for its roadside stalls selling the local produce including strawberries and pineapples.

The locality takes its name from its railway station, which was named after a local Aboriginal man, Menvil Wanmaurn (also known as Jacky Delaney)

🌟 Volunteer Training Night Highlight 🌟

We were incredibly fortunate to have Registered Paramedic Nathan join us for our recent training night! 🙌

Before becoming a Paramedic, Nathan worked as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher — and he generously gave up his evening to share his wealth of knowledge with our team. 🧠💬

He walked our volunteers through the vital process of calling 000, what to expect when making the call, and how to communicate clearly and effectively to get the right help. From giving precise location details to describing the situation accurately, Nathan's insights were practical and invaluable.

📻 Sticking with the communications theme, our team then refreshed their skills on radio etiquette, how to provide clear and concise SITREPs, and put it all into practice with some hands-on scenarios.

We're always so humbled when professionals like Nathan take time out of their busy lives to support and upskill our volunteers. Your generosity, knowledge, and passion make a huge difference — not just to us, but to the entire community. 💛

Not one for being rooted in one place, some of our members travelled to Laidley yesterday and over the weekend to help. 🥰

Once they got their bearings, Nia & Carrie-Anne were paws-itively pre-beared for any stuffy situations.

There were clawsome celebrations today as local families and friends laid out their picnic blanket at Pine Rivers Park and celebrate the start of spring.
