At Hospice Georgian Triangle, care goes beyond - it’s about a hand to hold, a shared laugh, a quiet moment together. These small acts of compassion bring comfort, dignity, and peace to patients and families during life’s most tender moments.

The Hospice Georgian Triangle Care Gala is our opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate those little things.

Inspired by the compassionate care Hospice Georgian Triangle provides, Sandee Roberts and her husband, Martin Kilby, opened their backyard and their hearts to host an intimate gathering of friendship, laughter, and purpose. With the generosity of their guests, what began as a simple idea became a powerful act of love, raising vital funds to support comfort, dignity, and care when it’s needed most

That’s why we offer a 3-part series designed to provide understanding, connection, and support when you need it most.

A sweet treat for our team and patients!

A huge thank you to our Social Committee for organizing a special visit from Make It Sweet. Staff at the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation office (186 Hurontario St.) and at Campbell House enjoyed a delicious treat, and thanks to Make It Sweet’s generosity, patients at Campbell House were gifted complimentary ice cream.

We received a new respite client. He was not eating much of anything when he arrived. But the delicious smells and happy chatter always coming from the Campbell House kitchen very was enticing. Everything is made by our dedicated team of Kitchen Angels, who are always focused on creating homemade, comforting meals. So… he started with soup. Before long, he was eating three full meals a day and even sitting in the dining room eating together with our staff and volunteers.

One day he commented to the Kitchen Angels, “You have this beautiful BBQ on the patio, but I don’t see you using it.” So… we got to planning.

There is nothing that helps a facility feel more like a home than a happy, active, loving kitchen ❤

Hospice Georgian Triangle

Hospice Georgian Triangle, a registered charity, provides trained volunteer and professional care and support to individuals living with life-threatening illness or in their last stages of living, to their families and to the bereaved.

HGT began in 1987 as an all-volunteer, community-based visiting program providing non-medical support to those living with a life-threatening illness, or at the end-of-life, and to their families. In 2000, two respite suites were established in the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital to address the need to provide increased respite for the caregiver. Subsequently, the respite suites were moved to Sunset Manor. Campbell House, a stand-alone facility with six residential suites, opened in August 2014.

Now that Hospice Georgian Triangle has a total of 10 beds at Campbell House, the HGT Foundation must raise more money than ever before to make sure free access to all HGT services is available to everyone who needs them at anytime.

The North Simcoe-Muskoka Local Health Integration Network funds approximately 50% of our costs, and while Hospice Georgian Triangle does not charge a fee for services, its programs are made possible only through the generous donations of people like you.
