Interesting. Even Alexis reveals the evils of the pharmaceutical companies. Now, I’m not against them. I just think their priorities are out of whack. Pharmaceuticals are great, but only as a last resort. The real remedy, the real cure, is to work at the root of the problem. Many many years ago when I had an out of control anxiety/depression disorder, I tried medication for about two weeks, no more, and something in my gut was telling me this is just not the way. There’s gotta be a better way. So I did a lot of research and I discovered that the problem with natural remedies: they don’t address the problem, the root, in a HOLISTIC way. So, that prompted me to create a 5 prong approach for eliminating (permanently) extreme anxiety and depression. It was so bad, I had full-blown panic attacks daily and I became agoraphobic, at one point before I started utilizing the 5 prong approach I created. Incidentally, it also happens to be part of the AOM System simply because, to live an extraordinary life requires all aspects of ourselves to be optimized and thriving. The Takeaway? Remember this: you don’t have to be on meds (this goes for ALL kinds of medications) and you can avoid meds in most cases. Work with a professional, who is devoted to eliminating whatever the issue is by working on healing and reversing the root cause.

Humans are complicated. Thriving, oddly, isn’t.

There are two things every human being needs to not just survive, but actually soar.

They cost nothing. No costly subscription that depletes.

First: acceptance. Real acceptance. Of yourself and of others.
Not approval. Not pretending everything is fine.

Acceptance is the decision to stop fighting what already exists.

When you offer it to yourself, your nervous system exhales.

When you offer it to others, something contagious happens. People soften. Defenses drop. The room changes. The world tilts, just a little, toward sanity.

Second: making a difference. Not saving the planet before 10 AM.

Just knowing that your presence, your actions, your care mattered to something or someone beyond your own head.

Humans are wired for contribution. When we feel useful, purposeful, impactful, life stops feeling like a waiting room.

Here’s the kicker: these two feed each other. Acceptance gives you the safety to show up.

Making a difference gives you the meaning to stay engaged.

Practiced together and shared outward, they ripple.
People pass them on without realizing it. Cultures shift. Lives expand.

It’s free. Which is suspicious.
It’s simple. Which we love to complicate.
