With a very heavy heart we say goodbye to this beautiful practice space. I came to Moksha/Modo yoga Guelph in 2012 to try something new and rehabilitate my body and mind. I never new how much I would fall in love with the owner, teachers and studio. Like many have said over the years the entire building had a very special energy. It felt like a home. The staff made it even more welcoming. I was at a point in my life that I was really really struggling with pain and mobility issues. I was honestly worried about my health and ability to work. It was exactly what I needed to create a health routine for myself. You could easily say the experience changed my life. I love every person that has ever walked through the door. In many ways you've all had a part in my health and healing. I started teaching yoga in 2014 as I really wanted to share and give back what I was getting out of the practice. I will continue practicing and teaching yoga indefinitely. For many of us our favorite place is gone. I want you all to know that it's a place. We can all stay connected and moving forward. We have no reason to stop practicing and connecting together. I want to offer you all new ways to not only keep together socially but also to practice yoga. I will be teaching classes within a week. Dear Modo Yoga Guelph,
Thank you for always providing a sense of community during tough times. My practice will ever be the same, this studio was truly one of a kind with the teachers, atmosphere and love. The first class I ever took, Kelly Romanick told me that they "do" hugs here and came up to me with the warmest most open heart accompanied by a big hug. In that moment, I needed that hug more than she knew and I needed Modo yoga more than I knew.
I hope and pray this community can come together in our last few days and make the most of it. Modo Yoga Guelph, may your legacy live on through your students, your love and your movement.

While my experience with MYG was short lived, it was beautiful. This small but mighty community welcomed me with open arms and for that I am grateful. There is something seriously special about the studio - both inside and out are whimsical. That hot room is especially magical, the way voice and breath fill the room sends goosebumps across my body. Thank you for welcoming me. Thank you for holding space for me. You’ve all touched my heart. Forever grateful and in hopes that we cross paths again, Kristina

Modo has become my safe haven these past few years. the space and the lovely community that meets in it have helped me evolve my sense of presence, in turn helping me to become more patient and accepting of myself and others. I feel so privileged to have been a part of such a special place. I will miss the practice and the people, more than words can describe. Thank you MYG for everything ~Maja

MYG welcomed me with open arms when I moved to Guelph! It has meant so much to me to be part of this community. I loved seeing all the friendly faces and being greeted by the heat of the hot room like a warm hug. Though we may not see each other in the familiar MYG space, I hope to cross paths with others within the community in the future
