Get education for yourself and your partner or whoever will be joining your birth.
Fear and blockage work…. Energy is everything! And if you are holding onto fears it’s a good idea to meet them now, instead of during your birth time.

Meet theDoula!

Let me introduce myself! I am Amanda Fitzsimons, of Woodland Birth Services. Red Deer born and raised. My fiance Jeff is absolutely THE BEST. Together we have 4 beautiful children, ages 14, 12,3 and baby.

As a child I was a part of an amazing youth organization called Junior Forest Wardens from the age 8-17. It really fostered a love for everything outdoors. From camping and hiking, to fire building and kayaking, forestry, first aid, wildlife, and team building, we learned it all. Those were very forming years for me.

I also love animals! I love dogs (we have 2!), cats(we also have 2 of those!), horses, and every other animal! You might catch a photo or two of our four legged friends on my Facebook or Intsagram page.

I can be a “Jill Of All Trades” and I like to try my hand at arts and crafts, drawing, DIY’s, painting, sewing projects, icing cakes and cupcakes, and photography. I get a lot of pride from my projects, even if they aren’t all “masterpieces”.
