World Sleep 💤 Day 2026 ‘ Sleep Well, Live Better’

💤Sleep is a critical pillar of health (like nutrition and physical activity) sleep is essential for physical and mental restoration, strengthening the immune system, improving brain function and regulating emotions.

💤Developing a good bedtime routine is a good starting point for a good nights sleep, avoid screens, enjoy a 30-60 minute wind-down time, ensure your bedroom is cool, dark and quiet.

💤There are some that will struggle to sleep even with a good bedtime routine, sometimes waking at the same time or several times throughout the night.

Taking the time to relax is important for mental and physical health. Creating small pockets of calm within your day (even 10-15 minutes) can help recharge body and mind.

If you have a busy mind and struggle to relax reflexology may help. Working specific points on the feet/face/hands can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. This relaxes the nervous system and can help reduce stress and inflammation in the body.
