🎃✨ What a week it’s been at our Wayzata office! Our Trunk or Treat event was full of smiles, costumes, and community spirit—thanks to all the amazing staff, volunteers, and the incredible people we support who made it so special.

As we share these highlights, we also want to recognize that today marks the start of Día de los Mu***os, a time to honor and celebrate loved ones who have passed. We’re proud to create an inclusive space where everyone’s traditions and celebrations are respected and celebrated.

🎃👻🦸‍♂️ Halloween vibes were strong at our White Bear Lake office today! Thanks to the heroic presence of Superman, a Ghostbuster, and Deadpool, our team felt extra safe while celebrating.

Interestingly, they bore a striking resemblance to Communications Specialist Joe Cullen, Jesse from one of our Hugo homes (who also attends our Day Support program), and Wade Hartmann, our Lead Day Support Staff… but hey, that’s probably just a coincidence, right? 😉

🤠 Howdy, partner! Look who we spotted spreading Halloween cheer today — Ryan from our Stone Creek Apartment program, dressed as Woody from Toy Story! 🎃

Ryan was hard at work at Kowalski's Eden Prairie Market, proving that you can celebrate the season and get the job done. 🌟 Great costume, Ryan!

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Fun at Wentworth! 🎃
The guys from our Wentworth home enjoyed a wonderful weekend getting into the Halloween spirit with a pumpkin carving activity. It was a great opportunity for creativity, teamwork, and plenty of smiles all around. We’re so proud of the festive designs they created and the fun memories made together! 🧡

We’re excited to celebrate Amelia, who turned 80 years old recently! 🎉

Amelia enjoyed a relaxing evening at home with her favorite dinner — McDonald’s — followed by cheesecake and presents with her housemates. The night before, she went out for some delicious BBQ with her family.

One of Amelia’s favorite gifts this year was a nail set! She usually gets her nails done in a salon, but she’s excited to try doing them herself at home as a fun (and money-saving) new hobby.

A huge shoutout to the incredible Medica Health Plans volunteer crew who joined us at our Wayzata office yesterday! They cooked up amazing meals for our homes and filled the kitchen with laughter, teamwork, and care.

We’re beyond thankful for partners like Medica who help us spread love one meal at a time. 💙

Like many retirees, Anne is looking forward to the next chapter in her life—a time to relax, spend more time with friends and family, and do some traveling. Anne resides at our Stone Creek Apartments program where she greatly enjoys her independence, with support as needed from onsite staff. Read more!

Many of the people we support hold part-time jobs, some have worked for many years and found fulfillment in what they do. Now they are beginning to retire.
