-1:1 Training females only My name is Marina Zimmerman. I have been married for 19 years.

I am 35 years old, a mother of two. My oldest is 18, my youngest is 16. It has become my goal as a personal trainer to be known as someone that understands the struggles of everyday motherhood, marriage and just being a women. It is my commitment and desire to teach, mentor, train and guide women in a way that they can maintain a healthy and positive lifestyle. Remember, it only starts in the gym. I make it my goal, to prepare you to be ready, for when you leave the gym. For the times you are alone, feeling discouraged about yourself, struggling with your will power. I want to help you not only as training coach, but as someone that will prepare and enable you to start implementing proper meal planning, scheduling to make time for the Gym, which most of all means a little time for yourself. The benefits to your health, marriage, love life :) will become apparent within weeks. I have been passionate about fitness all my life, but after having two children and having your body change in many ways I knew I had to step up my game. I began weight lifting right after I had my 2nd child, I saw my body completely change and take on a different shape. This took time, yes! But believe me. With the right encouragement and mentor-ship this is something that you can do! Soon after I had started working out, I had decided on trying to see how I might do in a drug free fitness competition. I then was sponsored by my friend to go to Las Vegas for my first competition. I went with the great group of girls, who have supported me and opened up the doors to the competitive fitness world for me. I took 4th place in the Fame World Tour in Las Vegas. 5 months later I competed in Fame BC Tour and took 1st place in fitness model and 3rd place in Muscle Model. What a fantastic experience! I am a certified Personal Trainer and have been training clients for the past couple years. I have created a core group of clients which I would and should refer to, as some of my closest friends. This job is a passion for me. I want to help women who have struggled with the same things that I have struggled with. I want to enable you to conquer the bad habits, encourage you to keep on going on! I want to push you to your limit, so you know what you are capable of. I want to prepare you in a way, that when you leave me, you are ready to carry yourself proudly and confidently. I will train you in a way that when you are ready, you can walk into a gym and know what to do, when to do it, and how many you should do. Fitness Training is a skill that someone should learn, it is a very complex network of programs and nutrition management. This I will teach you. This is my desire and absolute commitment to you

I’m beyond proud of how far Michelle has come, and it’s been an honor to be part of her journey.

Michelle’s story has been nothing short of inspiring. Over the past few years, we’ve worked together to tackle some tough challenges. She came to me battling a frozen shoulder (a common symptom for many women going through menopause) and navigating the difficulties of life post-hysterectomy.

Despite these obstacles, Michelle has shown relentless determination, proving that strength comes in many forms. From pain to recovery, she’s transformed not just her body, but her mindset. She’s pushed through the toughest workouts, stayed consistent with her program, and faced every setback with courage.
Together, we overcame every challenge, and she continues to inspire with her dedication. Her journey is a powerful reminder that with persistence and consistency , we can turn struggles into strength.

Gotta love looking back at all the competition costumes 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

Sometimes looking back is fun, but being stuck on and dwelling on the past is not a good idea.
I’m thankful for my past successes and even the tough times.

Your past is what formed who you are today! It’s the bad times that make us stronger and help us learn something greater in life! Live in the now! And have a plan set out for your future.
Only you can create change. It doesn’t happen overnight
And yes, sometimes we need help
But you can do it!
Stay positive, talk kindly to yourself, and remove any negative around you.

Why do I like bodybuilding?
Some people might call it vanity or obsession.
But to me Bodybuilding is an art!
My body is a canvas, and I use weights to create a certain level of perfection that’s in my head.
It takes months and years to create and perfect a physique.
Competing was a platform for me to showcase my art, and it gave me a yearly new goal to create and better my physique.
It was ME vs ME and that was the best kind of competition!
Keep your eyes on the prize!
Whether you’re competing or just choosing a healthy lifestyle and new to weightlifting.
It takes time… and I mean time!
And at the end of the day, you’re only doing this for yourself 💪🏻
Just enjoy the ride 😊

Restrictive dieting is NOT the answer!

Prime example here of my clients BEFORE training with me:
- Caloric restriction = not seeing changes, foggy mind, fatigue, injuries, always hungry, gut issues etc.
- Constant cardio : not seeing body composition changes, spike in stress hormone, and hormone disturbance

AFTER training with me and implementing:
💪🏻 Flexible eating
💪🏻 Focusing on nutritionally dense food
💪🏻 Doubling caloric intake for maximum results at the gym and energy

My goal is to see you succeed!!!
Do you plan out your week ?
As a mother, wife, and business owner, having a plan in place for the week let’s you be more productive and keeps life organized.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a stay at home mom or a business owner.

Here’s what my weekly business plan looks like:
1. Build programs + video follow ups with clients
2. Schedule my gym clients
3. Social media plans

Here’s what my family plan looks like:
1. Pick dinners for the week (if they’re in writing I shop accordingly) which saves you time 🕰️ and money 💵
2. Accommodate my kids schedule to any outings/appointments that they have
3. Grocery shop and assign days for cleaning chores

Plan for me🥰:
1. On the busiest days that I am at the gym, I plan out my food and pre-prep.
2. Goals for this week. Like going for a walk whenever it’s not raining with my husband (it’s our quality time)
3. Meet with one friend per week for a coffee
4. I plan out my workouts too! For a more productive time at the gym:)

You see how I scheduled myself into my week? If your constantly giving the best of yourself to everybody around you and you don’t take care of yourself, you will fall apart.
Part of succeeding is having a goal and a plan that’s attached to it, whether it’s for day-to-day life or healthy habits and workouts.
