Love of Rose proudly celebrated Southern NM Project SEARCH teams from Alamogordo, Deming, and Gadsden!

A special thank you to Deming for hosting us, and to Starmax for going above and beyond with the food, tour, and outstanding service.

We’re also grateful to Ms. Alex, our statewide coordinator, for the beautiful beeswax candles, and to Peppers, the City of Deming, and the Department of Health for their generous contributions to the gift bags for all interns.

Our interns, skills trainers, and instructors had a great time connecting and building relationships. These moments matter, and we’re proud to create spaces where our community can grow together.

We look forward to hosting more events like this across different areas!

I had the opportunity to attend BIA Day in Santa Fe, and it was such a great day! I enjoyed catching up with friends, connecting with legislators, and meeting other amazing business owners from across the state.

As a small business owner, I’m always looking for opportunities to build relationships and share the advocacy work we’re doing in southern New Mexico. Conversations like these matter, and it’s inspiring to be surrounded by people who care about strengthening our communities and supporting local businesses.

Grateful for the connections and looking forward to what’s ahead!

Information night for Project Search - New Mexico program at Holloman AFB - 49th Wing is coming up on Wednesday, January 28 at 6 p.m. at Alamogordo High School, Bldg. A (103 Cuba Ave.).

Project SEARCH in Alamogordo is a joint effort involving NMDVR, Alamogordo Public Schools, UNM Center for Development and Disability, New Mexico Health Care Authority, Zia Therapy Center, Inc., Love of Rose LLC Employment and Advocacy Services, and Holloman Air Force Base.

If you or someone you know in Alamogordo is between 18 and 22 years of age, has a disability, and would like to pursue employment, please consider attending this valuable session.
