In my mid-30s, I was trapped in fear, scarcity, and people-pleasing—driven by unprocessed grief and the belief that hyper-independence and over-achieving were my only safety. The pressure I placed on myself in my tech career, as a Mom, and (then) wife led to burnout, adrenal fatigue, and self-abandonment, all while ignoring red flags in my health, career, and relationships. I later realized I had been living in survival mode with a chronically dysregulated nervous system shaping every decision and area of my life.
