As parents, we spend so much of our time making sure our kids eat their breakfast, lunches at school and if we’re lucky, they finish their plate at dinner. Unfortunately, not all kids get the same opportunity and it breaks our hearts that it happens in our own city.

This is why causes like the Food Bank’s Starfish Backpack Program are so vital to our community. Many students across the province rely on school breakfast and lunch programs to fill their tummy’s on school days. When it comes to the weekend, they don’t have the food they need. Starfish Pack was designed to help change that. Starfish provides packs of 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and snacks to hungry students each weekend of the school year.

We are so proud to support a cause like this one, where we can help the kids who need it the most.

2024 was a year of change for Ebata Optometry, especially breaking in our new clinic - and still, the best is yet to come! Thank you to each and every patient who supports and believes in us and what we do and the dedication we give to each and every one who chooses us. We have been a little quiet on social media as of late but wanted to give an update for the clinic hours this upcoming holiday season!🎄

We will be closed from December 21 - December 29th and will reopen for optical appointments only on December 30th (no eye exams). We will close again from December 31 - January 1, 2025 and reopen for the new year on January 2, 2025 at 8:45am and resume our regular hours.

Another update before the end of the year is still to come! Thank you everyone!
