⚠️ Is Lead in Your Cookware? ⚠️

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an alert on Tiger White Kadai/Karahi Aluminum Pots due to lead contamination concerns.

A karahi/kadai is a type of thick, circular, and deep cooking pot often used in South Asian cuisine. Certain types of imported cookware made from aluminum, brass, and aluminum alloys (like Hindalium/Hindolium or Indalium/Indolium) can leach lead into food, which means harmful lead can seep out of the cookware and end up in what you eat.

💡 Why It Matters:
No recalls have been issued yet, so avoid purchasing this product and check your kitchen to see if you already have it. Cooking or storing food in this product may increase you and your family’s risk of lead exposure. There is no safe level of lead!

👉 What To Do:
- Stop using this product and dispose of it safely.
- Contact your doctor if you are concerned about lead exposure.
- Sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date on lead-related recalls.
