Could Your Symptoms Be Linked to the Gallbladder Meridian?

Do you experience any of the following?
• Side of the head headaches or migraines
• Pain starting from the hip and running down the outer side of the leg (sciatica pain)
• Ongoing outer thigh, knee, or ankle pain with no clear cause
• Bitter taste in the mouth or dizziness
• Trouble falling asleep or waking between 11pm–1am

In Chinese medicine, these patterns often follow the Gallbladder meridian, which runs from the side of the head down through the hip and outer leg.

👉 Read the full article to learn how the Gallbladder pathway works, why these symptoms can be connected, and how acupuncture may help.

Want to relieve muscle tension naturally?

If sore shoulders, a stiff neck, or an aching back are slowing you down, cupping therapy may help. It works by releasing tight muscles, improving circulation, and supporting natural pain relief — ideal for work-related strain, long-term tension, or general stiffness.

A beautiful success! 👶
After a failed cycle, this patient began weekly acupuncture with me before and during her next IVF round. Three months later — a positive blood test, and her text made my day!!!

So happy for her! Such a joy to be part of this journey ❤️

Spring in Melbourne — what a couple of weeks!

The past two weeks have brought everything — heat, cold, rain, and wild wind — truly unpredictable Melbourne spring weather!

Many people have noticed their chronic pain, headaches, hay fever, sinus issues, or eczema flaring up again. In Chinese medicine, these changes show how Wind, Dampness, Heat or Cold can easily invade the body and disturb its balance — especially when the weather keeps swinging.

Now can be a great time for a gentle tune-in acupuncture or cupping session — to release stagnation, push out dampness and stasis, and help your body find its rhythm again.
✨ Breathe freely, move better, and feel your body lighter — with less stickiness and itchiness.

🌼 Natural Relief for Hay Fever 🌿

Spring is here — if you’re struggling with itchy eyes, sneezing, sinus congestion or headaches from hay fever, you’re not alone.
At Dragonfly Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, I’ve been helping many patients find relief naturally this season.

✨ Common symptoms I often help manage:
Itchy eyes, runny nose, sinus blockage, pressure headaches and fatigue from poor sleep.

🧬 Evidence shows:
Clinical studies suggest acupuncture may reduce nasal symptoms and improve quality of life in allergic rhinitis. Herbal medicine can complement treatment by reducing inflammation and sinus blockage.
(References below.)

🌿 My approach:
Each session focuses on balancing your body’s Qi — strengthening Lung and Wei Qi, clearing Dampness, and easing sinus inflammation. I combine acupuncture, custom herbal formulas, and simple lifestyle advice for longer-term support.

🎯 Typical results based on my experience:

1–3 treatments: less itchiness, watery eyes, and easing headaches

4–6 treatments: clearer breathing and reduced congestion

6–8 treatments: more stable relief and fewer flare-ups

⚠️ Everyone responds differently. These timeframes are averages from my past experience, where about 60–70% of patients noticed improvement within these ranges.

🌸 Take a natural, evidence-based approach this spring — I’d love to help you breathe easier again 🌿

Please stay safe and grounded in this crazy windy day, everyone!

In Chinese medicine, wind can bring in cold and dampness, especially if your immunity’s a bit low, you’ve been dealing with hayfever or sinus issues, or just getting over being unwell.

Please keep your neck and back covered, stay warm, and try to avoid too much wind exposure in the next few days. ☕️💚
